Let's Get Sketchy - July Week 3
The pictures on this page were taken in early May when we were planting our garden. (Well, I didn't actually do any of the hard work or planting, but I did take the pictures.) Tomato, onion, radish, carrot, sunflower and pumpkin seeds were planted! In recent weeks, we've been harvesting and eating delicious onions, radishes and carrots. And, the tomato plants are looking great so we'll be eating fresh BLT sandwiches before long. More garden-themed pages to come, soon!
Materials Used:
- Background green (BasicGrey "Vivienne")
- All other papers and cut outs (BasicGrey "herbs & honey")
- Circle Edge Punch - triple loop (Martha Stewart Crafts)

SOS July SKETCH Challenge #28
The Scrap Our Stash (SOS) blog has quickly become one of my favorites. It's fun to read about the Design Team and their layouts are amazing! If you haven't visited this blog yet, then you've been missing out.
Each month, SOS hosts two challenges to help encourage scrapbookers to create. One of the monthly challenges is always based on a sketch.....Here is the sketch for July.
For my take on this sketch, the following materials were used:

Frosted Designs - Here Comes The Sun
The motivation for this layout came from the Friday (July 17) Challenge on the Frosted Designs blog. In this challenge, papercrafters could choose the theme of "Sun" or "Son." Since I love summer layouts and have two daughters, you can probably guess which option I picked!
Materials Used:
- Recollections Scrapbook Paper (solid background, yellow pattern)

Sketchabilities: Sketch #142
Sketches help me complete more pages in less time! This sketch is from Sketchabilities and it also helped me try more "layering" than usual. The layering was a fun creative challenge.
The photos on this layout are from my oldest daughter's "senior pictures." We were very pleased with all the photos taken by photographer Brian Brakebill. He took many great photos and the two "softball" related shots on this page are among my favorites.

SOS July Stash Challenge #28
Like most papercrafters, I'm constantly trying to "use what I have" instead of buying more scrapbook supplies. With this in mind, the "Scrap Our Stash" Challenge #28 was the perfect motivation to create this layout!
Here is the list of items I used for each letter in the word PHOTOS:
P - paper clip
H - heart
O - orange paper
T - tag
O - outline page and background
S - spray color on background
Here is how the page turned out! Until next time, happy scrapping!

ATC Book Box
For the Paper Forest (www.thepaperforest.com) DT "off the page" project this month, I decided to try something new. The Graphic 45 ATC Book Box was fun to work with and turned out to be the perfect place to keep some sea shells my Grandmother collected in the early 1970s. The BoBunny "Boardwalk" collection had the perfect seashore feel this box needed!
Also, here is the card for this month's DT projects -- the "Misc Me!" pocket squares were fun to combine and layer!
