Sketches In Thyme: Sketch #210

Here's Sketch #210 from the Sketches In Thyme blog followed by my take on this sketch.

For the past few years, we've tried to grow some things in a spring/summer garden -- all credit goes to my husband and younger daughter. Each year, I've tried to document their efforts! This time, I picked green gingham paper for the background. Gingham reminds me of a country setting and a "homespun" feel.

These wood embellishments (Basic Grey) were in my stash and I wasn't sure I'd ever use them....But, they seemed to go perfectly with this "garden" page and I'm pleased with how they look.

Until next time...Happy scrapbooking and papercrafting.
