Stuck?! April 15th Sketch #2

Here's the April 15th Sketch from the Stuck?! Sketches blog. Usually, I seem to follow sketches pretty closely (I'm not sure why, but I do). But, this time, I drifted pretty far from the sketch and it was lots of fun.

The "layers" behind the photo on the sketch made me think of a "collage" and so decided to give it a try. This was the first time I used Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium (crazing) and I cannot wait to use it again. After the collage medium was dry (took less than an hour), I blended some Tim Holtz Distress Crayons around the edges of elements on the page which helped bring out the crazing look.

The photos on this layout were taken at an arcade on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk during our family trip in early March. So, for the "collage" I used memorbilia from the arcade.

Until next time, HAPPY SCRAPPING!
